Index in Google

    hi,
    i posted some articles on my site as .html pages. like mysitename.com/category-name/article-title-here.html but after six months, only a few articles got index in google. even i have a complete sitemap page.
    i want to know how long google takes to index any simple .html pages??
    Do i need to publish a blog (blogger.com) for these articles to index in google??

    i appreciate any suggestion

    I suggest you build some backlinks for the internal pages, that are the article pages. This will help to index more pages of your site.

    Putting your link on a sig here on DP usually gets you indexed pretty fast.

    Backlinks.. It really helps to get your pages indexed.
    Try to get atleast one for each of your pages.
