Index go up and down?

I have a site there are 4000 posts, a month after I set up and make some backlinks, it was indexed on google very fast, about 2000 results, and in next month the it down to about 1000, to 500 results, now is gain up more than 1000 but in very bad description for a result, what's the matter? How to solve? Help me

 

I don't think there is anything you can do. Its down to google what is indexed or not.

Is it affecting you in any way? Less traffic?

 

The pages indexed were lost and after that its were reindxed, many times and the visitors come from Goolge search are down too

 

In order to get more of your pages indexed, you need to build some backlinks for home page, as well as the internal pages. Also, update your site on regular bases.

 

You need backlinks and tons of them, but also remember google runs on keywords, what if your forum people post all the wrong keywords, it can chane your rankings fast I'd think.

 

Is the content duplicate? Is ur site using meta description tags wisely for each page?

 

I have had the same issue..several times...I have gotten as high at 18,000 on my google index...and then it drops like a rock. I have had this happen 4 tinmes in the last 6 months....cant figure it out.

 

Have a look at your meta description tags, re write them if necessary.
