    Hello,

I want to ask you something about importing PNG files to Indesign, but the question is little more specific. So, the situation is as follows: I'm not familiar with Indesign, my first time with this software was yesterday:) So, we may say that I'm a absolut novice. But, I have good web design skils (dreaweaver and fireworks), so I hope to learn the basics soon. But I must to do a magazine design by myself very soon. And I wonder is there any possibility like this: instead on Indesign, the magazine pages to be maked in Fireworks and imported like PNG or PSD files to the Indesign file. I can make, on Fireworks, the whole page - from the design to the content and then save it in the apropriate page size. Then I will make new Indesign document, with the same page size and page numbers, and will put my graphics in this pages.

And is it possible this document to be created without printing errors and problems by this way?

    Thank you before.

That's a long-winded way of doing it, Indesign is for page layout, use it!

Yes, i will use it, but right now i dont know how to use it :)) in a way that will work for me. And I dont have so much time to examine Indesign, because i must start this project on time. Also in this moment I dont have the ambition to become an Indesign specialist, so if this idea work just for my project, why not use it too?

BUT when you say "long-winded way of doing", if you mean very hard to be done printable, I will stop thinking about doing it on that way Right now :)
