India need 167 in 20 overs,it will not be easy for Indian batsman to score against Australian bowling attack.

Solid win by India, well done.

Am I the only one that noticed that whenever Symonds would have the ball or be shown on the big screen, the crowd would boo/make noises? It'd be understandable if a few people were doing it, but the fact that almost the whole stadium was joining in on it has really made me lose respect for Indian crowds at cricket matches.

I don't see anything racial in it as most of the Indians are more of less of that color itself. It is hype created by media or Autrialian just out of the 4-5 people booing the aggression of Symonds early.

Bullshit, then what do you call those four idiots imitating monkeys when he came onto bat in the last one day. Software outsourcing we have defended our country elsewhere but I beg to differ with you in this matter.

I'm sorry you have come to my rescue and I to yours, in previous threads but I beg to differ on this issue.

You think Indians are not racists?????? Wake up man??? Then what is the caste system? Only in India there is a market for fairness cream. Indians, thanks to the brahmins' propaganda during the British rule claimed themselves to be Aryans although their features betray otherwise.

Let's say if the same thing happened to Indians in Australia, would you keep quiet? Let me also tell that there are more Indians in Australia than vice versa. I think if this shit goes on and on, remember what happened to the Arabs in Australia when they wagged their tail in land down under? They were thulped every nook and corner. I think there will be a backlash and I hope Harbhajan Singh would cock his arse which farts now and then, besides complaining.

I admit the fact the we are having some problem with our castesim , but this particular case does not seem to have a rascial overtones. To me it was agression by a band of selected people against a person who was involved in some brawl. Ironically this was the person who was the most prolific player and was responsible for most match wins against India. Media and Austrialians picked up this and made it point everywhere they moved . Austrialian players ( forget abt the crowd) used to call Jayasurya a monkey. In final cup match between India and Pakistan ( Benson and Hedge) I remember a playcard displaying, Match between Tram drivers and Bus conductors .Harbhjan during recent match had catgorical said that Austrialan agression most of time cross their limit and gets very personell ( This too is rascial , dilip)

    Look at other abuses :

Five spectators were ejected from the Adelaide Oval on
Australia Day for calling the Sri Lankans “black c****”. The same description was yelled by Darren Lehmann, the South Australia captain, in a Brisbane dressing room after he was dismissed in a 2002-03 VB Series match against Sri Lanka, and he received a five-match suspension that ruled him out of the early stages of the World Cup. Indian supporters were also targeted at the Adelaide Oval during the 2003-04 tour.

Gerald Majola, the CEO of the South African board, has threatened to boycott future tours of Australia if the racial abuse towards his players continues.

Majola, who is in Perth to watch South Africa play Sri Lanka in the VB Series, was quoted in the Cape Times as saying: “It is very serious and if it continues, yes, we would look very seriously about whether we return here for another series.”

South Africa have been targeted by a tiny minority of racists during their tour. The worst incidents occurred during the Test at Perth in December when several players were called “kaffirs” and “kaffir boetties” - they also complained about similar incidents at Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
