Personally, I just think you need more content. Also, you should re-write your front page. You have something like 5 links in the content there, and 3 are to your contact us page. Maybe you should move the blog to the bottom of your homepage? Most of all, you need some good original articles.
Get yourself to www.socialmarker.com and bookmark it on the 70+ social bookmarking websites and remember to use highly searched targeted keywords as tags.
Yea commenting on other peoples blog or go to popular sites and ask people wat they think. but i think you need first to get a domain of its own.
It so cool when people come together and work and help eachother out. all so I heard about a script that one can use on there site going check into that too.

Gather a list of keywords and write or add more content. Good places to comment market would be newspapers, gov and edu sites and blogs. You have a lot of potential for traffic because of the fitness, food and lifestyle portions of your site. Try email campaigning.
If you want to increase its traffic, focus on targeting keywords that best described your site. If you have managed to increase its traffic in serp, then this will provide you with good organic traffic.
