It depends on what you have done already, you can do so much though keyword desity and keyword placement. Thing is if your on-page optimization is already upto scrach, and the reason you not ranking well for that term but are for others is only because there is higher compitition for manly sea eagles then all you can really do is concetrate on getting links.
