    Are you selling software as a product or as a service? The way you market them will be quite different. In one you promote a product to many people while in the other you will probably be looking for a relatively small customer base with a much higher cost.

    Unfortunately my friend, web design field is a cut throat competitive field, surviving in this industry is not easy. To establish your market, you must target local area or within your city to establish your brand, then think of competing globally.

    You can try to get some client from freelancing marketplace like Elance, oDesk, etc. And then build relationship with the client by providing quality service.

    You can promote your services by buying facebook ads or
    create a fan page for your company then build your fanpage
    with FB ads and secondly
    Open a LinkedIn account and contact groups owners and make
    them a deal to promote your services to the members so that
    every sales that comes from the group they get a commission.
    There are lot of group owners that are willing to accept your offer
    since the percentage is a very interesting. This tip can work both
    on LinkedIn and Facebook groups.
