increasing PR

I know that your response is the typical correct response, and that is great for sites that provide information, but what about your average online store? Do people just link to a store because of content? In my experience, no. I'd like to hear how others have gotten back links to a store.

Back link helps your blog get high PR value. Just make sure to get back links on relevant and DoFollow sites because Google gives more value on them. Remember quality is better than quantity!

I have tried loads of different way of building links the best ones i have found is Article marketing through Submit Your Article and Forum posting through about 10 different forums with over 10,000 users and the newest i have found is submiting comments on blogs and articles through How to improve PageRank.

you should primarily focus on getting traffic rather than PR increase, for me PR went up but less traffic. so no advantage of high PR , but definitely high traffic = everything...

How old is your blog? First, you need to have quality content. Content is king remember, then work on creating quality of inbound links.

The goal is to increase traffic, higher pagerank is sometimes a consequence of this.

You should try 3 way link exchange and forum it’s very helpful to increase the pr.

 

Focus on building a userbase with repeat viewers, not one timers.

 

PR is dead and its just a green bar that you see in the Google bar that will help you see a trend but that is totally innacurate when you think of it. Thinks more of the Trust Rank, a good trusted site that give you a good backlink will do the job far more than a 100s of innacurate site with supposed PR1 or PR2. Think more in the way "How can i generate traffic to my website" and then the results in Google will follow in my opinion.
