Increasing PR with BloggerGenerator?

    Does anyone know if creating Blogs with links back to your website and then pinging those blogs helps your search engine ranking. I am relatively new to internet marketing. After Posting over 1000 blogs with links to my websites. (I modified all the templates to include links to my websites.) It has not been enough time to see any difference except my Alexa score DROPPED DRASTICALLY :mad: . I posted a post earlier on Forum and was told not to worry about it. That Does not make me feel any better. I cant tell any difference in traffic. Does anyone know if It is a good idea using BloggerGenerator to Increase PR. Thanks

    Unless I'm missing something, I don't see how this would affect your Alexa score.

    I was wondering about that to. Then why would it go from 300,000 to 2,000,000 almost right after I posted all the blogs :confused:. Is there anything specific that could cause that?

    Alexa isn't exactly the most accurate indicator of traffic, you should check your site logs to see if your visitors actually went down

    What's on these blogs...are they brand new? Are they sharing the exact same content? Regardless, this should have nothing to do with your Alexa.

    Also remember that you Alexa ranking is an average of the last 3 months, I believe.

    My guess is....you were cozing the ranking yourself by visiting your site often and now as you have been to bizzy with posting on other blogs your rankings dropped.

    Like they said Alexa ranking isn't accurate and only if you have the toolbar installed it will count a visit. Look at your awstats, webalizer or whatever tool is installed on your hosting that will tell you your traffic
