I have gone from PR4 to PR2 8 months ago then on next update sometime in february from PR2 > PR0 but then I realized that google was penalizing me for selling PR and I got rid of them (sold links) The PR has not gone up these last 6 months even though my SERPs are excellent ranking top 20 in google for a VERY competitive keyphrase ... has anyone succeeded in increasing their PR after PR0 penalty ?? any tips ?
I think you will not be selling links in the future so what is the point in PR if you rankings are great??
PR I think you need to look at the big picture... Better serps... or better PR.. good SERP results bring the traffic not PR. PR is just a bedtime snack

I personally dont do link exchanges. The only links I receive are from commenting on related blogs/forums. I have not been around enough to experience the full effects of the PR updates but it appears as though im doing something right at this present time.
