    Increasing number of spider visits

When the spiders start hitting your site is this something to get excited about?

Currently my site is getting pounded by Google, MSN, Yahoo and assorted others. So far the spiders have hit my site about 4 times as much this month as compared to last. This trend has been going on for about 3 months.

Is this a normal trend for a site that is 6 months old or business as usual?

If I see a continues increased, can I take this as a measure of success?

Finally, with the SE's hitting my site what actions should I take, make it a priority to add more content, tweak my SEO, or leave it as is?

Its when they don't visit that you have a problem.

Usually the more the better unless you start running out of bandwidth. I have a site that I added some pictures to and ran out of bandwidth 3 times in the last 40 days.
