Increasing number of spam messages on phpBB

    Of course image verification is enabled for registeration.But i am still receiving daily up to dozen new signup for just one spam thread.

    I am using 2.0.19.

    phpBB image verification is cracked ...? :mad:

    I'm also seeing a LOT more SPAM on one phpBB forum in particular. The usual image validation is pretty rudimentary, so I would not be surprised to see a crack.

    Is your phpBB updated?

    If your forum is somewhat popular and with PR, people will take the few moments to register anyway for a few good links.

    I would suggest enabling email signup verification if you have not already, it may help a little bit.
