Increasing inanchor:KW ranking?

I know inanchor:KW for one word keywords is the same as allinanchor:KW, but for two word keywords they are not the same. What exactly is the listing that inanchor:KW gives you if it is a multiple word keyword?
Secondly there is a very, very strong coorelation between the inanchor:KW listings and the regular SERPs atleast for many of my more competitive 2 word keywords. So the million dollar question is... How do you raise your inanchor:KW ranking??? We all seem to know how to raise allinanchor:, but nobody talks about inanchor:. Anbody have any ideas?

A search of inanchor:keyword1 keyword2 will give you any page that has keyword2 in it (on the page itself) with links pointing to it with keyword1 in it.

I thought keyword2 inanchor:keyword1 gave you pages that have keyword2 in it (on the page itself) with links pointing to it with keyword1 in it. Not sure though?

Also, I'm not sure that it makes sense that there would be such a strong coorelation between SERP placement and inanchor:keyword1 keyword2, the way you have it defined. It's kinda like saying, if you are targetting a 2 word keyword phrase that you should have some links pointing to your site with the anchor text of the first word of the KWP. ie. if you wanted to target "rotten tomatoes", you would get links with just the anchor text "rotten", then make sure your on page text is optimized for tomatoes.

On the otherhand maybe that is the KEY!
