haha run an iPhone wallpaper site and my eCPM is averaging .55 ... I guess the tech savy users out there are less likely to click on ads to begin with I need to move to another niche.
Don't move to a new niche, just start another one. I'm up to a whooping 32 running websites! Thats how I keep my earnings over $3,000.00 a month
This makes sense, but I have a question. How do you use these long-tail keywords to get the traffic? Do you simply mention them in a post once or twice?
Yes, either that or have the keyword in the title. Including it in the title will give you better rankings but if you can still rank by only including it in the content, go ahead. .info and .com are both TLD but I agree that .com is better, I'm just not sure how to purchase the .com from the current owner.
So, after you use the keywords, you said the next step is to get a couple backlinks. Where do you recommend going to get the backlinks? Blogs, directories, paid links, link exchanges, or something else?
You just need a backlink or two to your domain, not the sub-page. Blog comments probably won't work as they are usually nofollow, I have never seen any benefit from directory submission but link exchanges work and paid links probably would too.
You learn something new every day. I had never even heard of Naruto before - but looking at wordtracker it is a massively popular search term right enough...
Hi. Today i have a impressions 2 clicks 1 CTR 50.00% CPM $321.68 I really dont know what cmp is how it matters us. i am just looking at the earnings. i want to know if i can do better with this site: my site is a real estate site. and it is's url is http://hyderabadrealguide.com Best wishes Ravi.
CPM means how much you earn per 1000 impressions but with only 2 impressions your CPM is very inaccurate. Work on building traffic.
Hmmm, via the My Search Box, eh? I haven't seen anything from mine, but I'm not really utilizing it. I'd love more info on how to maximize it.
The eCPM listed by Google for referals and search is completely wrong, they don't even take into account the impressions. They could a click as an impression so you always have a huge eCPM unless you work out the eCPM manually.
I don't think there is much point looking at eCPM with just a few pagevies. Since eCPM is cost per 1000, if you want a good average only look at numbers well above that. I wouldn't bother looking at eCPM when pageviews is anything below 5000 pageviews, low numbers just aren't accurate.
