Increasing Domain Value

I have a handful of domains that I may or may not do anything with, but I suspect that I'll be selling about 1/3 of them in the next year.

Rather than sit on them or park them somewhere useless, I might as well spend a few minutes making them more attractive so that if/when I do decide to part with them they'll be worth a tad more. Nevermind that most domains are pretty much worthless these days due to oversaturation...

Obviously putting up at least an index page and letting Google/MSN/Yahoo index it would be helpful, but are there any other things I can do that have a pretty good return for the effort?

Since these are spare domains and not my real focus, I'm not so interested in spending much time on them... but if there's something useful or clever I can do I'd like to hear it.

I did something similar a couple of years ago

I put up online an index page with some content updated daily via RSS feed, a chunk of random content and quotes delivered via javascript, some sponsored advertising and the most important: a footer with a link to the other domains meant to be sold.

Over time search engines indexed the site and because they were interlinked most of all were pagerank 3 so enventually I decided to keep them all and develop full sites.
