Just out of interest, is there a technique similar to article writing whereby you only provide partial information on your page, in the hope that people will click an ad to find out more?

No , You cant because , the ad which people click might not contain the continuation of the topic. 90 % of times it is off topic.
Placing ads in a better way can increase CTR a bit more , BTW , you host SA:MP?

To increase CTR, you should get more targeted visitors who are likely to stay long and read a lot of your contents. Placing the ads at vantage points and blending them with contents (of course, without breaking the TOS) is the way to get a higher CTR...

    Thanks for your help.

I'm trying to increase my CTR on SAMP Host, and I don't know how to calculate a CTR when there hasn't been a click, but you get the idea. I can't figure out the best method of getting people to sign up to serverFFS through my websites' referall link.

I get about 20-30 hits a day, people searching 'samp host' on google ( very targeted) and yet no results.

Dont you just create a channel? This will show you page impressions and click through rate.

    Sorry, I didn't mention, that website doesn't use Adsense ( going slightly off-topic, I know :X )
