Well, i read some articles and manuals about how to optimize and increase your adsense earnings but i have site i havent optimized it quite well and the click earnings are really low.

I will put a comparison between this site and two other site i have:

Whats it about | Clicks | Earnings |
    Actress/Model Fan Blog | 350 | 7$
    Global Warming | 62 | 15$
    Favicon Site | 28 | 5$

Is it a really low click rate niche? I know global warming is hot these days and with only 62 clicks i doubled the site with 350 clicks but how can i increase it?

I mean, the favicon site with only 28 clicks is almost making as much money!

If you have any ideas on how to improve it, it will be really helpful

    Thanks, fuser

My strategy is to have a site niche, where people will be more interested in the ads that show up. For example if you make a website on a subject like making money online, you are likely going to have ads saying things like "learn how you can make $10,000 a month". people visitng this site want to know any and every way to make money and they will probably be quite interested in an ad saying something like that

on the other hand, i dont see how people would be too interested in ads relating to something like celebrities. what good could clicking on it do for them? think about that

Well, i get some ads about other models or celebrities so maybe you see a name of a model/actress you like and click on the link i dont know

The url is on my sig (evangelina anderson) so you can check it out and see how can i improve it.

Thanks a lot for the interest!

hope to earn more from that site,

    Fuser,

You have different CTR [click through rate] for every niche, you may get decent income from few clicks for certain niche and may not get even 2$ for 25 clicks for some other niche.
May be advertisers wont pay much for "celebrities/models" related sites/keywords thus you dont get much out of such sites even you have very high ratio.

Only huge traffic would help you to earn better from such low paying keywords.

Today i got just $0.07 for a single click ;)

    All the Best :)

Thats true.. yesterday i got 0.20 for 10 clicks... and in another site got 0.15 for 1 click... i guess i will earn little by little as longs as the traffic keeps coming..

    Thanks, fuser

I've done a test on keyword "actress/model". I don't understand why your earning is so low though advertisers bid pretty nice on your keywords

Cool stuff, i'm so focused with SEO it's pitiful that i don't use adwords to see prices... Will start doing now though.
    Thanks

They key to getting high paying ads is improving the niche-relevancy of your website. If your site is general then you might suffer from smart pricing more easily. See: Factors for CPC and upping your Adsense CPC.

IMO you dont get always what advertiser bid for also you need to rank top for getting better revenue.
