I am stuck at an OK landing page for my blog and I cant think of anything more to do to increase quality, I have plenty of content, the design is very user friendly and I have a minimal amount of ads, What more can I do?
What is your conversion? Do you have one? Or do you just want visitors to bookmark you and return often?
Do you mean that your minimum bid quality score is OK? If so, then landing page is only one factor. Also try putting your keyword in your advert (ideally in the title), using exact matching as far as possible and improving your clickthrough rate.
The main one is the front page of my blog, DigitalOrder. Also the more Clicks I get for a keyword the more my bid increases, for it. (e.g. I bid on the keyword webmaster like it suggested and yesterday it was at .1 I bid .15 got 4 clicks and now its at .2, webmaster is in the ad copy also) @huligan:I just want them to bookmark and return often. @pry:I have an about page and Ill build a privacy policy page.
Your post was actual the guide I was going by to lower my bid. Ive done all the things I know of on the adwords side so the only thing left to fix is my "landing page"
Most of my keywords are OK with .10-.50 minimum bids. I know thats pretty low but they keep raising the minimum bid every time I raise my max bid.
Then I would say it's more of a CRT issue. If you have an OK quality score, there is not much you can do to your landing page.
CTR, So because Im not getting many clicks because of the high price per click they raise the price higher, that seems a little messed up. So basically all I can do is make ridiculously detailed ad groups and spend more money hoping the increased ctr will bring the price down.
