For the past week, my ecpm has increased 64%. Ctr remains the same. I would like to ask DPers if this increase is going to be permanent or will it fluctuate? It has been steady for about 8 months until the recent spike.

Keep one thing in mind that the Ctr and the eCPM rates are never permanent, they keep moving up and down always,as far I have seen, the more the traffic in your site, then both of them gonna go high for sometimes, and damn sure if you can get some clicks at that time when ur ctr and ecpm is higher, damn you will get good $$ per click man.

Yes. I do notice the fluctuation. Still, on the whole, my average ecpm has gone up a lot compared to the previous month's average ecpm and holding.

Now, could this be due to my SERP having improved significantly for the generic keyword term? This has also resulted in improved traffic but CTR remains normal. Could my site have now become an authority site?
