Got a slow internet connection? Well you could make it faster. A lot faster by following these simple instructions. This should work on any Windows. And a lot of people have tested this and they got a faster connection.

    Cool... Thanks!

    Instructions:

       1. Right-click My Computer and click "Properties".
       2. Go to the "Hardware" tab and then go to "Device Manager".
       3. Go to "Ports" and then expand it. Double-click on "Communications Port".
       4. Go to "Port Settings" tab. And enter the following values.

    Code:

Bits per second = 128000 and Flow control = Hardware

Now click "Ok" and that's it.

So it works with Wireless, LAN, And all that kind of Connections?
Because with wireless my Connection is VERY slow...

    EDIT:

There isn't a Ports Section in the Device Manager.

the speed is in ur head.. thats not going to do anything.. whatever internet you have beside dial up, the speed u get is controlled by your provider.. ever hear of a cap on ur modem? .. yeh u cant bypass it especially not with that silly code ..

I don't think it will work on dial-up or wireless. It will only work with cable modems. Now I can't guarantee that it will work for you. But it did work for a lot of people. It depends on your ISP. And its worth giving a try. The instructions are simple and easy to follow.
