    Well these two firefox addons are very usefull as it up my website alexa rank by 100000 spotsin 1 month.....

    Nobody cares for alexa ranks these days, I guess. As they don't reveal the reality..

    It is not a good practice to manipulate the results by some type of add on.

    Thanks for sharing your article but I think Forum Posting, Blog Commenting and Directory Submission are the very effective tool for improve alexa ranking.

    Even though you visit your website a hundred times, it will be from the same IP. So it doesn't make much difference.

    These method can help in getting backlinks as well as little traffic but alone these methods cannot change alexa ranking or have big impact in changing the alexa ranking.....

    I don't want to manipulate rankings. I'd prefer my alexa ranking to be legit and don't want to visit my sites just to increase it. Sorry.

    Forum posting is the better than any other method. I am using that method for making back link as well as traffic.

    I agree, I'd prefer a legit rank too. But to think of it, Alexa isn't very accurate it deduces your rank based on daily traffic figures and not on average basis.
