I came across a great tool to help advertise your product and build your twitter following at the same time.

    http://www.tweetswin.com/

It allows you to post a contest for a prize. In order to enter the contest someone must Follow you on twitter and retweet the contest info.

The site does appear new, I am saying this because the lack of contests. The downside to this tool is that I can see scammers using the contest to gain followers and never providing the prize to the winner. Hopefully, contests will be watched and moderated.

Testing it now. Not expecting a huge increase in followers due to the fact that the existing contests show a low number of entries. As I said I think the site is fairly new, but a great idea! I think if they got some more marketing for the site it can be a popular in a months time.

Who.is show that the domain is little over a year old. Unsure when it launched though.

I would be a little bit cautious as you never know if they are collecting emails or any other info for their own purposes other than what they are stating.

They didnt ask for email or any kind of signup. The only requirement is that you must also follow them and everyone who wants to signup for your contest ALSO has to follow them.

So they are getting a good size following out of the deal to which they will probably market to or sell ads for.

I would avoid this, it's a waste of time. All you will have is people that followed you so they could win a contest, not because they care about what you're tweeting. There is no way of knowing if their accounts are even real, and most will just unfollow after the contest is over. So really the only point of this is make your numbers look bigger, which theoretically could help, but I wouldn't waste much time on this.
