What kind of traffic are you looking for and do you have a budget? You can get traffic by building backlinks or you can purchase traffic, not recommend to an extent. You can get an insane amount of traffic if you were to use PPC, but you could lose a lot of money if you don't know what your doing. Organic Traffic is the best way to go, sometimes, but you would do this by building backlinks for your site. - Social Bookmarking, Article Marketing, and Press Releases are several ways to build backlinks.
I suspect what you really want is more conversions, and that you are hoping more traffic results in such. A different approach might be to focus on conversions. Assuming a current conversion rate of 1%, you are making about 3 sales a day. Increase the conversion rate to 2% and you would double your sales to 6/day. So, which is easier (and cheaper) and faster? Double your traffic or double your conversion rates?

And I would also add to the advice above to check whether the texts in your e-shop are unique (e.g. cannot be found anywhere else on the Internet). As far as article writing and submission are concerned it is also necessary to try and submit for instance 50 unique content articles to article directories rather than submitting the same article to all directories. Also try to find the right longtail keywords which Google users may search (use some free keyword suggestion tools such as Google Keyword Suggestion Tool, which is a part of Google Adwords) as you get a better chance to rank higher in SERP for those keywords than if you target general keywords. That is what I would do first.
