Increase Traffic- My only problem

    I have been working on sites for a few years now and bringing in traffic has been my only source of problems. On all of my sites I get about 300 UV a day but have never been able to get much more then that. They grow at a slow but steady rate increasing every month.

    I have done social bookmarking
    directories
    affiliates
    link exchanges
    I index well with google on the first or second page for my major keywords
    and have submitted a few articles.

    Any ideas on how I can get my UV's up to 500 or more a day. I am really wanting to reach the 1000 uv a day mark.

    You have done everything that should be,if you are not getting a lot of visitor from this then first visit your own website,I think people are not interested in the concept of your website or your website is very commonm.

    Hey, what you are doing sounds good, but maybe you aren't doing the strategies correctly? I noticed you only said a few articles...are they keyword rich? And are they helpful to the readers or is it just promoting your site over and over again?

    Another big tip I can give is Keyword Research. I'm not sure if you are using the right keywords, I'm sure some of your keywords are great but you are probably missing some. Go to www.freekeywords.wordtracker.com and run a keyword search for your niche, I'm sure you will find some new keywords there.     The new craze is VIDEOS! try making some videos and build a relationship with your viewers then introduce your website.

    You might want to think about it in a different way, I am not sure what your website is about, but...

    You might not need more than the 300 UV a day, what you might need is a better conversion. How can you turn more people from visitors into buyers, how can you get more people to sign up to your list?

    Have you been looking at your bounce rate, how many will just leave your website without clicking on anything?

    If you get 300 UV a day, and you could make at least 10 people of the 300 come back to you again (on a weekly basis), you will have a great number sometime soon.
