Increase Quality or Bid ?

    Some of my keywords are inactive with my current bid, they tells me to increase bid or quality.How to do this ?

    Bid can be increased, but what is mean by increase quality ?

    Can I increase quality and keep the BID same ?

    Quality Score determines a keywords minimum bid & having impact on Keyword’s Ad Position
    Quality score while determining the minimum bid:

    * Keywords Historical CTR on Google
    * Keywords relevance to the ad text
    * Account’s historical performance on Google
    * Landing page quality
    * And other relevant factors

    Higher the quality score lower the minimum bid (the threshold amount which is required to activate your ads for that specific keyword).

    You can change your quality score by improving these factors. Though increasing the bid amount can instantly make your keyword active.

    So if I am increasing my landing page quality, if I am having an ad for seo, my landing page should have more related contents.and this may decrease the bid amount ?

    Just look into your adwords account if google had found any problems with your landing page.

    If they didn't then you don't need to improve anything.

    Your ad ranking is totally based on your quality score & keyword bids. If any of your keywords are inactive, its better to increase the bids than wait to improve quality (at least your ads run on those keywords immediately. also increasing the quality takes some time). Then you should try to improve you quality so that the minimum bid for the keyword drops down. Increasing the quality means , having targeted/relevant ads with good LP quality. A small part of it depends on how many people click on your ads (CTR). All these things combined helps in determining your QS. Hope this helps :)

    the best way is to rewrite your text ads until the keyword becomes active again. Then try to get the highest CTR possible for your current position to keep your text ad on.

    High landing page quality and high CTR will bring your cpc down. also add privacy page to landing page and add top keywords in your page meta keywords section.
