My advice as you're just starting, is to forget about PR and focus on your website ranking in the SERP's

 

Add some fresh unique content regularly and try to promote it by doing organic SEO, if you does all things properly than within few months your blog would definitely got good Pr but first of all try to read some good thread on this forum and do some research on internet.

 

Just keep on building some back links to your site. Add unique contents everyday.

It would be better if you are just focus on developing your blog rather than increasing your pr.

 

If you want to increase your website PR try to boost unique content daily,
and make submission in the relevant with high PR website,
doing social bookmarking, directory submission, forum posting with signature links..........

 

1. Write and submit articles to the article directories.
2. Leave comments on other people’s blogs with a backlink to your site.
3. Answer people’s questions on Yahoo! Answers - Home.
4. Post in forums and have a link to your site in your signature.
5. Write a press release and submit it to PRWeb::The Online Visibility Company

 

to increase pr, u need to get link from high quality site.

 

Do not listen alll the stupid things people are writing about links because IT IS NOT TRUE !!!
I own 10 websites : 8 of them are on google's 1st or 2nd page maximum in one of the most competitive keywords ... My sites are in the middle of sites scoring up to 40 000 backlinks !!! (and the maximum i have per site is 300) ...

Backlinks Count / Quality, Site Theme and Total links on the linking page as well as the PR of the linking site/page, etc..

As advices above, I always tell people to forget about PR and focus more on the SERP's but let's just face it:

PR is mostly about backlinks

 

Backlinks alone almost always give you the pr result you want.

 

Get back links on relevant and DoFollow sites because Google gives more value on those kinds of back links.

 

Keep on building link is the only way to increase your PR

 

For PR, the only way is to get backlinks from higher PR sites as much as possible.
