I used to have many pr6 website, now they are pr1-3. Perhaps create some quality content that someone with a high pr website would be interested in linking to you as a resource or authority on the matter.

there's nothing more you can do other that having quality content and get back links from good PR site(Link relevancy should be there-It means if your site is about tent and craft, don't seek back link from the religions sites, IT industries etc, you should seek back links from the similar site) !!

PR is solely a process of links. You need links from pages (Not just domains) that have PR.

The PR of your site is not really relevant to much anyway, though, so I wouldn't really worry about it.

Focus on improving your search engine rankings, not your page rank.

Is your site still indexed by Google? If not, then they probably think your site is pure spam. If that is the case, you're screwed imo.

That was really bad... Having a strong PR6 website would help you get more than a few hundreds dollars for it if you sell it for example. Yeah, they are not so powerful after all the updates, but if the blog/website has some really GOOD backlinks, it would be better and worth much more if they have also a HIGH PR! :)

Well I'm talking about very old websites that I own. For example http://lexcorps.com I got that in 2000. I don't use it at all any more but when I did it was a pr6. Every other year the pr would go down, now its pr0.

Check your site backlinks. Perhaps you got some poor quality or spammy inbound links, and that was the the reason why your site PR dropped.

You may use any free backlink checker for that. WebMeUp, for example: http://webmeup.com/tools/backlinks.html

You may have too many external links in your site and all of your link juice have been passed to those sites and this is why your site's PR has gone to 0. To get back all of your PR juice, you have to build Do-follow backlinks from high quality sites.

There is a little trick that you can do. You can buy a PR2-4 domain with some decent backlinks. Then you can create a Brand backlink from your PR domain to your money site. This way, you can easily increase your site's PR

    HI Mate,

This will happen for many reasons. Actually PR up and drop depends on backlink and site quality. Whats makes your your site more quality is onpage .
    1. Make sure search engine can easily able to crawl your website.
    2. Don't do any redirection on other irrelevant pages.
    3. Don't get backlinks from irrelevant sites.
    4. Always prefer to write quality and unique content which makes your site look active.
    5. Navigation is important for the readers to stay on your site for some time. So make your links clickable and easy to navigate.

    Moving on to offpage.
    1. Get backlinks from a relevant and authority sites.
    2. Do built your backlinks in a hurry to get PR which make cause spamming and get banned.
    3. Search for relevant sites, make your this site could give you valid backlink analyse it then place your site details.
    4. Post in profile creation sites, business community sites, site relevant directories and bookmarking, social media presense and content marketing.
    5. If possible be a member in groups in facebook, twitter, google+, etc... which make a chance of others to come and visit your site.
