Increase in money but ads have nothing to do with the content.

I've noticed I'm making 5x the revenue I had been over the past few weeks but also the ads that are being served have almost nothing to do with the content of the site. Articles discussing why beginners shouldn't keep venomous snakes are getting ads for SOX and HIPAA compliance. How to keep snakes away from your home are getting ads about virtualizing your windows server.

On the one hand I probably shouldn't be complaining but on the other I need to know if something like this is going to cause me problems with Google and has anyone else noticed the same thing on their sites?

This phenomenon occurs when the Google spider cannot figure out what your site actually is about. Mostly due to poor on site SEO. Since sites rank for specific terms that is what the spider is looking for. Once said search term shows up in your TDL, title, page title, post title, category and tags the ad content matches the site content.
