I wonder if this has anything to so with last months spat between Yahoo and Google on who has the most indexed pages?
From 40k to 138k I sold a sitewide link back a month ago (no need to guess to who), and since then the amount of indexed pages increased 200 fold!! a good deal if you ask me.
A couple of my sites have had a huge increase in page numbers which has been reflected by the coop weight. As far as I can see these are all AWS pages.....last update I lost most of my AWS pages so does this reflect a change in Googles attitude.
from 6 pages tp 215,000 .... this is the biggest site i have had, i am somewhat intimidated. i am not totally sure what to do next.... and cyclops, did you change the basic template of your aws store or does it use what came with?
I just checked one of my sites and it now reads over 21,000 pages indexed, before it was around 13,000. The Googlebots have been busy.
Absolutely. I've seen about a 20% increase in Google traffic. That totals to about 200/300 a day from them, which is great because I'm still sandbox, and I'm only getting foreign traffic. P.S I'm up to 91k.
Good lord! You people all have hundreds of thousands of pages? I just went from 11 to 560 or so. ;-) -t
Last week Google had one of my sites at over 25,000 pages. This week it says over 35,000 pages. I know for a fact there are less than 10,000 pages. Yahoo says less than 2,000 pages. Google is just making sure it's going to win the "We've got the most indexed pages" contest.
anyone notice that google has 11 million yahoo pages indexed and that yahoo only has about 1 million google pages indexed. that makes me a laugh
