Hello, I have a new movies website, 6 months old,and I want to increase its domain authority. As I understand the most important element is back links, is there anything else I can do to increase its authority?
A simple search shows that Google does not care about DA and does not use it to rank websites: https://www.google.com/search?ei=Y0........0....1..gws-wiz.......0i71j0.bfUaBCE4Ov4
DA is a third party metrics. And not to mention highly inaccurate and to some point imaginary. So, stop worrying about it.
No doubt Dofollow Backlinks are most important factor in site ranking, but high quality, unique, audience attractive, latest and useful Content is also most beneficial in SERPs.
Regularly add interesting, original content to your site. This drives organic, search engine traffic, and from this, visitors who enjoy the site will link to it and post about it.
DA is a third party quality measuring index and is not used by Google. But DA shows what Google sees on a website to rank it. DA shows how good your website is in terms of the backlink profile, the traffic it gets, and in general how popular your website is. And this is exactly what Google looks on a website while giving its position in the organic listing. Hence, DA becomes an important indicator.
Domain Authority is the metric measured by Moz but in 2019, Google has stopped counting DA factor for link building. Yes, but still Domain Authority factor is following by many companies to give the website better visibility on the search engine.
6 months is still a new website and I would recommend to focus on your target audience not on increasing your site's domain authrotiy.
