Increase daily budget but impressions don't move

Hi...I'm having real difficulty in increasing the number of impressions for my ads. I've now increased the daily from £100 to £600 (did this a couple of days ago) and still no pick-up in the number of impressions? Is this simply because nobody is typing in my keywords?

Yesterday I had 56 impressions altogether with 16 clicking through...so my CTR is 28.57%...so naturally I'm keen to up the stakes a little. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

If you're not using up the full £100 upping the budget like that won't help.
It probably is a matter of not having enough / popular keywords - other things to consider - are all your keywords showing? Are they all showing on the first page? If not, then upping the bid will help.
Other than that -use the keyword tool, try more keywords, more long-tails (which individually might get little traffic, but having lots can build up traffic volume)

Run a report in AdWords across the account to check your impression share. If this is less than 100% by rank then up the bids, I'm presuming it won't have lost any impression share through budget as increasing it hasn't made any change.
And as magda says you probably just need to get more keywords/broader keywords to increase your impressions.

The reason is most likely because there just aren't that many people searching for your keyword

That's the best answer. Upping your budget will not increase the number of people performing searches! If only it were that easy... Try using broad keywords and see what search terms you may have overlooked to add to your keyword list and increase impressions.

What keywords are you putting into adwords?

You probably need to balloon those keywords out a fair bit to increase your clicks.

If you are not maxing out your daily budget for 100 then upping to 600 is not going to make a difference. You need keywords that drive more volume. If you have 56 impressions and 16 clicks then your keywords have to be highly niche and longtail.

Try expanding your horizons and find more broad and generic keywords. These types of keywords convert just as well, and offer more volume.
