I have read and experimented that making the border and the background of your ads of same colors gives you more clicks then the ads with the border. Also I think the background should be matching the page color or the color of the background on which it lays. This way user will think it as a normal content. Because some users are in hurry. They don't notice the line "Ads By Google" written over there. If someone else has more tips then please post them here.
Great way to confuse your users. If you run a serious website you dont want to send your users away before they're done with _YOUR_ content. If you're a spammer, sure.
Anyway what do you think users will buy reading articles and tips from your site. This kind of settings work in your resources pages and freebies pages. Not the page where your proiduct is listed and you put an ad next to it. You should figure it out for yourself what you want to do or what not. I posted this topic for users to have tips. Not to comment on my tips.
before, I am happy earning dollars from Adsense but sending away my visitors. But I realized that it is not good idea. So deviced my adsense in my sites so that, those who go to Adsense advertised sites are only those who didn't find any information on my site. Afterall, frequent visitors for my site is more important to me.
Which one of the site you are talking about. Let me also see what kind of setting you have done over there.
Do you think that technic will help peoples view of the www? Maybe you should ask the http://www.w3.org/ and see what they think?
Why would i ask w3.org they are not god of internet. When you get extra inclome from ads that's it. No one cares not even google if you make the border same color or not. Google it self give tips for better click through for your ads. Because they want more clicks on ads. So where does the validation issues come in.
The best advice I can give you... 1. Experiment frequently with various color schemes and ad placement. 2. When in doubt about anything, contact Google first.
Good advice. However, don't expect G to give you much more than a copy/paste of their official rules. I asked a long, very detailed question about a product I have created and wanted to ensure I did not incur Google's displeasure (even though it shouldn't) - I got a cut/paste 4 sentence reply 5 days later.... not very helpful. So do ask, but don't expect much. Steve

May be you are right but all the visitors are not unsount. It dependes on adwords and the choice of visitors
