Increase Article Writing Income: Writing, Sales, Marketing With Quality Buyers

Incomes of writers are based on selling your abilities to buyers with higher priced products or services. Your payday cannot automatically increase solely by charging more, practicing, or improving techniques to write, or putting in longer hours. Boosting payoff for article writing is a strategy of building sales, proven by previous written ability. Next a marketing plan is presented to professional service firms guaranteeing an increase in clients.

The typical home run, article buyers think of using the get rich quick books plans with guru techniques. While the joint venture product sells at $50.00, it leaves the website owner with $30.00. Most businesses set aside 10% for advertising. Assuming one in five makes a purchase, $90.00 is received for making three sales. If your article gets the average 300 readers with the average conversion to website rate of 5%, 15 potential customers arrive at the website. Should one in 5 purchase, $90.00 is made. So the owner pays you 10% of the $90.00 gross profit. Your article was worth exactly $9.00.

There are herds of writers, brainless as hamburger bison, following clueless chickens pecking at every word I write. They kick dust at methods of commanding $250.00 for same size, 500 word writings. The scientific formulas, sentence structuring, combo keyword interlocking, power words, and pre-testing, mesmerize their bland expressionless stare of overgrown babies. Meanwhile those now practicing my wizardry, smile at the immune thorns and brambles of childlike adversity.

Proof makes them scurry like rats in a deserted attic or cockroaches exposed to the light. To a chosen few, this logic opens eyes wide open to a world of opportunity based on reality. I choose the buyer, say a financial brokerage agency. I want semi-qualified prospects, arriving at the website, after already reading the article.

Taking less than 5 people of this caliber to make a sale, the financial seller will average $1,500. Lets understate it at $1,000 profit. The savvy client commits to a budget of $500.00 intending to make at least 2 small sales. Watching like a falcon on a nest, and pre-planning my strategy, the writing journey begins.

Aged mongrel dogs watch my unmarked path using their worn kaleidoscope. My article is submitted to a large directory. After publication, multiple search results are checked on Google. Two search phrases land 1st on Google, with 31 monthly visitors total. Since first place = 36% of the total traffic that is 131 yearly readers. Three search phrases hit second, totaling 1,000 searches monthly. With 17% converting, that is 840 total yearly readers. As high quality articles with direct Google traffic convert readers to websites at 13%, 10% will be used.

As passionless as an executioner cutting logs, I do my calculations. Using low figures, 80 website visitors arrive. 16 sales result if only one in 5 are buyers. With sales averaging $1,000 profit that equates to $16,000. The $250 writing charge is a bargain. Now I still owe another $250 article. I better start now before the dodo birds pass by.

Incredibly refreshing to see someone discussing valuable content and realistically priced content - rather than thread upon thread of requests or offers for $4/500 word material of poor quality. It's THAT kind of material I hold accountable for web spam!

    Thanks for this!

Not sure what your trying to convey here. Let me take a stab at it. Each article that I write is worth 10% of the profit that the buyer earns? So, if the buyer earns $100 profit from my article then its only worth $10. How do I figure what the client is going to earn from my article?

Content portals such as AssociatedContent and eHow are becoming aware of the "sales pages" that their members are trying to put on their portals. Their submission guidelines are becoming much harder as internet marketers are pushing harder to sell their products in an article.

They are losing ground as "sales pages" anyway. When I started, Associated content was it, for (starting) writers. Constant content was just a blip. Tables have turned over the years, and the gap is getting wider.

Strict rules are not a bad thing though, ensuring quality, never is.

Amen to that. He may have a rather strange approach, but his methods doubled my income. I have been going nowhere but up, since he started helping me implement his teachings.

And without ever asking for anything in return I might add.

Yes sir, you most certainly spoke about some things that most people do not know. It is refreshing to see these kind of enlightening posts that show how to break things down and make applicable sense out it.

Had 2 visits to this sites earlier, getting nothing out of it. Got the real idea of his Genius when I had a chance to meet him last day. Divine Advisor [dyadvisor] is doing all these to help new [and experienced "guru"s!] writers to reach their destination, of excellence in writing and millions in earning. Looking forward to have more free resources from this Legend. Also appreciating Kraven for making this thread going on and on....

I do hope you are also learning the way he looks at things, so you will stop the outsourcing stuff I see you posting in BST all the time.

Please pay decent rates for decent work from now on.

This is not a flame, just an observation over the last couple of weeks.

Be part of the solution, not part of the problem.

Yea, I really have learned a looooooooooooooot from him. And, to make things clear, what I did was NOT cheating writers paying some pennies than a Business Model in which the "Middle Man" can do NOTHING but hiring the cheapest! Anyway, the game plan has been changed as I got a clear picture of the real worth of words that sell.

My LinkedIN presence is the beginning of the revolution....

    Thanks for the reply!
