Incorrect statistics?

Google sitemaps reports there are 99 unreachable pages (aka 404 errors) on my site, but when I click the links they work for me. The page rates my robots.txt as 200 (out of 200?) so there can't be any errors there... any ideas?

 

May be it is because of the time when the site is indexed. There may be some server problem to index those files.

Try to resubmit the sitemap once more.

 

are you sure the your server headers are correct?

and google is also giving some stupid error. i dont care them

 

Happens to me all the time, if they are really working don't worry about it Google will go over those files again in a few weeks.

I get errors of missing pages in the couple thousands some times than they just fix that a week or so later.

 

Are you sure it doesn't say "Response code" is 200? (file found)

 

Any chance those pages are really large?

I got this will my blog too. I think this problem is because when google bot crawl you site there may be some server problem so it take long time then google report back to google taht your page isunreachable.
