Hello Can somebody help please? When I search on my keyword for a certain page on my site I come up as rank 1. The new page name has been updated on the website name (bottom of description) but the meta tag description for that individual page is showing a very old description of what used to be on that page. Bit confused that it has updated the page name but not the description?? Any thoughts??
The description meta tag is not given much importance by Google. And may be the term you searched for is more related to your old description so it was shown.
i thing its old cache problem wait some time google will update your all pages you can get individual bcz some time in my site face same problem if i search in google my any keyword so my title is home page but description is inner page content
