Incorrect revalidation of weight for coop

I've noticed this happen as well. The problem in my case is with my host. For some reason they seem to simply not be there from time to time. I've had all of my sites return "connection timed out" and "connection refused" errors that sometimes can last as long as an hour. I've leaned on them pretty hard as this is pretty much contrary to their "99.9%" uptime statement. The problems seem to have been minimized, but if it happens when the coop is looking there's a problem.

Now for the next problem! I just checked and the numbers for the site I'm putting all my weight on are half of what they were. I looked at where the problem is and it seems the weight from my directory site is WAY down. It's still PR4, but it has lost a few pages in G, but only a few. My total weight is now just about half of what it was. It makes me wonder if there's been a change in the way weight is calculated.

 

Shawn had me add my Google API key and I was able to revalidate myself. Weight went back up to 54,000

If you need a new host, ASmallOrange.com is awesome. I've had them for 3 months now and have nothing but glowing praise for them. If there's a problem, they are on it in minutes, if not seconds.
