Incorrect ad context?

I am using a single Adsense account for several sites. My newest site is a personal blog (www.thepaulfisherblog.com - still in the finishing-touches stage), and I have added Adsense adverts at the bottom of each entry.

The problem is that the adverts have very little to do with the content on the page. My other sites relate to SEO, and it seems that the content of the ads on my blog are being dictated to by the content on my other sites.

Does this make sense? Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can make the ads more relivant to the content on my blog (which is more business focused).

    Cheers!

I took a peek. They seemed relevant. Sometimes it just takes a little time. You can use section targeting to better control the topics of your ads.

If your site is fairly new it sometimes takes Google a little while to find it. I had one site that took almost 2 weeks before I was getting relevant ads. It was on a subdomain so that was probably part of the reason.

Oh, makes sense. Thanks for the section targeting link - I'll get stuck in...
