I am trying to do this query:

    link:www.seoboom.com -site:www.seoboom.com

but I get 0 results. Any suggestions what search should I do in order
to get incoming links that are not from my site?

    Thanks

You can't do that. You'll have to count manually. Negatives won't work.

I think the command you may be looking for may not be on Google at all.

On Yahoo! you can enter the following: linkdomain:www.seoboom.com -domain:www.seoboom.com which should list your inbound links found there (showed 1980 on my search).

try it on Yahoo! and use linkdomain: rather than link:

yeah, I know about yahoo and msn - here this works also.

but I am making a tool for idnexed pages monitoring and
I need a solution for google also.

    I think I will try: +domain.com -site:domain.com, at least
    I will get something close

    yourdomain.com -site:www.yourdomain.com
(so without the www at the beginning)

will show you all the links pointing to your site EXCEPT from your ouw domain.
Was that what you were looking for?
