Including youtube in my domain

    I am planning to register for a youtube api developer program so I can have access to some codes but my domain contains their name "youtube" in it. I am wondering if they will mind if I have "youtube" in my domain.

    They allow you to use embedded videos. They even have a developer API for doing so.

    Under US law they are forced to "go after" you if they see it. In order to retain a trademark you must actively defend it which means stopping others from having it in their domain.
