Incentivized?

I am new to affiliate marketing and I noticed on one of the affiliate websites it breaks down offers by incentivized or not incentivized. I assume this means that you somehow incentivize a visitor to sign up for whatever the affiliate program is. Is this true? If so, what are some common incentives?

It's true. Incentives can be pretty much anything. Cash, Gift Cards, Points that you can redeem for stuff, etc.

Although it can be pretty much anything, some of the networks are getting a little stricter these days on what can and can't be done with incentivized advertising. So the best thing to do is join the network/affiliate program and then ask if you can do it before you actually do.

Also, I would think you are talking about CPA networks when it comes to the break down of offers via incentivized and non-incentivized as most of the cpa networks use this method. Just in case you don't know there are quite a few of these networks online and it's never best to just use one as different networks have different offers and rates of pay.

    Good luck!!!
