What exactly does that word mean? I keep reading it (I just got into affiliate marketing) but I have no idea what it is? Thanks.
I think it means packaging the affiliate offer with one of your own. Like, sign up for this offer and receive a free whatever.
I think it means that you get a bonus for reaching certain goals (sales in a month, banner impressions, etc).
Hmm 'you think'? I'm not making fun of you, but I think it means a lot of things too =P I'm just not sure either.
http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=define:incentive If you get incentivized you are given a reason to do what they want you to do. Often compensation of sorts like remuneration or some bonus. Example: If I tell you to go clean up my garden I'd give you an incentive - you can drive my Ferrari for a day. I wouldn't expect you to do it for nothing. Affiliate Programs often offer incentives on top of their usual tiers. During Christmas you see a lot of incentives like iPod giveaways etc.
Okay, here's the response from my Azoogle rep: "jessicaazoogle: What incenitized means....You can actaully incentivize people to fill in a form. For instace, fill in this form and I will give you an ipod" "jessicaazoogle: some people run incentivized sites where they have lots of applicable offers for their users to sign up for"
