Hey guys, I wanting my visitors to click a banner advert to access a premium part of the website but was under the impression that publishers dont allow incentives to be offered for visitors clicking on adverts. Is that right? Is this all Publishers? Is there anywhere where they dont care? An example of what i mean would be 'click one of the banners below to access this files download page', which would be hidden until they did click. If this doesnt fly what other ways do I have for making money back on Premium parts of the website? I dont want my users having to go through the hassle of paying me through Paypal, I would like them to be able to do it there and then. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
You'll find any decent, legitimate ad network will not allow you to incetivise clicks at all, why? Because people are not clicking the ads due to interest in the offer but rather because they are forced to. If you want to monetize by adding a premium section on your site then make people pay for it.
Yeah just make like a VIP section of the site where visitors must pay a one time fee to get in and then can download exclusive programs, music, movies, or whatever it is you offer.
The closes thing you will come to is a PTC site. Any decent ad network would not allow this because its useless traffic to the advertiser which they are paying for. Advertisers want QUALITY traffic not clicks to their site because the user is getting something in return.
They are networks known as CPA, some of the networks have offers that ALLOW incentives clicks, like "sign up for this service and gain access to our VIP forums" This option is allowed on some companies that offer incentives offers. Azoogle, NeverBlueAds, IncentaClick and many other CPA networks have incentives ads. Just read the rules though to make sure they are no other restrictions, but this is possible.
