Hi all. What sort of incentives have you used successfully (or not) in the past to persuade people to opt-in to your lists? I'm running a list building challenge at my blog, and I want to get a few ideas for incentives other than just free reports.
Short reports, eBooks and MP3 recordings have worked for me. But I think it depends on your market what works and what doesn't. - Hannes
I must admit I'm a whore for a good MP3 offer; Currently I'm doing about 10% with a free 5 page report. Ultimately though, it's always going to depend on how you market your page and the quality of the copy. I'm sure if you were really, really good you could build list without offering much. Colm
Offer a featured spot on your blog for their site (if they have one). Another is maybe you can offer coupons to a product of interest. Mike
i use videos its new its hip, and since they are free i host them on youtube and other video hosting sites...that helps keepin the bill down
Are you guys buying mp3 recordings and videos or creating them yourself? And recordings and videos of what have worked for you? Thanks
