I'm just not sure about this. I have many affiliate programs. I swear that I'm not getting paid properly. If you meet a certain sales level, you can increase your pay. However, it's always delayed. What about the time delay before your sale actually counts? I'm just curious if those with these types of situations, do you trust what they are doing? Example, if I make that $100 in a month, I should get say, 20% instead of 10%. Therefore, I get the say, $20, but I should acutally get another $20 into my account later the next month. Who else hates incentives? Have you ever found errors?
The bonus is paid out in the next pay period - it's quite confusing. Example: $10 per lead, with $2 extra per lead if you hit 10 leads. You make 14 leads in November. You will be paid $140 (14 leads * $10) in your December payment. The incentive/bonus ($28 - 14 leads * $2) should be paid out in the January payment. If you're constantly hitting incentive levels, speak with the affiliate manager to see if you can get that incentive/bonus baked into your standard CPA (to give you $12 for all leads).
Thanks guys. Ultimately this incentive stuff gives me brain cramp. I will have to sit down and analyze how this is working or not working. tvmatt thanks for that last part. I think I want them to bake it in there. It's just a big hassle otherwise. I'm sure they won't but it's worth asking for. I suppose the bottom line is, I will spend an hour seeing wtf is going on. I will post back to see if I'm the idiot, or if this system is not flawless/automated.
