Hey forum, I am in the process of creating a new incentive site. I plan on investing a ton of time and money into this, as I believe that this can be a lucrative business if it is ran properly and honestly. My main issues are the security and fraud of the members. I plan on creating a site that has IP address protection and proxy site protection. What else would I need to focus on for security and to prevent fraud? I am in the process of working with a developer and would appreciate your insight. Thanks forum.
i did that before anti proxy script ip protection: 1 ip can see 1 google adsense ad 1 time a day: ip gets listed in a txt file and after a day it get deleted then it creates a new one again got banned from adsense: they said something about quality for their advertisers etc etc what one you gonna make? maybe u can help me
I use Shiftcode and have the proxy detection and you can ban IP #'s as well. I know somem networks have lists of fraudulent IP's that I have added to my site. Also, networks will give you bad lead info so I also block those as well. There is always going to be fraud. If a member uses fake info, that's fraud and nothing you can do to your site will stop them from doing that on offers. I also delete members who do not give me complete info when they sign up. Not that I do anything with that unless I mail out gift cards or something, but if you can't be honest or serious with my site, then how I can trust you being serious and honest when doing offers?
Still if you have this protection is would still be very wise if you check through your members quite often to see if you can find anything relation between some of them or find fraudsters.
