Inbound links Vs Outbound links

Should I have outward links from my site http://www.explore-mobiles.comto othe sites?
Do outbound links affect the page rank of my site or is page rank determined only by other sites lkinking to me?
Please excuse if my terminology is not right. New to all this. It is my first adsense site.

 

Avoid giving link to low classed websites. (outbound)
Get as much links as possible.(inbound links)

 

Outbound links are important to have but backlinks are what will help you in your standings with search engines. Just make sure they are quality sites that you are linking/getting linked from.

 

I wonder why this is in the adsense section.

 

The value of a outbound links is heavily argued (see this thread: Do outbound links affect SEO?). Personally I believe that they can help with your keyword density (especially for AdSense), but have very little effect on actual PageRank.

This is probably the best easiest way to sum it up, this should be moved to marketing forums however.

 

I think it counts, even though it does not count for much. Like in Journals references count.

 

Outbound links have no effect on PR but I (and many others) believe that backlinks to trusted sites help increaese your rankings in the serps.
