is it good to have many links pointing to different pages of your site from 1 domain? is it a good seo practice?
I am not sure how effective this would be, If it was a really important site with a high pr my guess it might do some good. I think that links from multiple domains would be the best way to go.
I think having many links from a domain to your site will be as good a single link from a domain to your site. Regards, UrStop
I'd say it doesn't hurt. The basic question here is if you do it only for SEO or if you can get some other value out of it. For example, if the domain linking has real content, you may receive some hits from the readers over their. That works also within your own network (I am using that and the traffic is good). website I'm talking about is pr7. multiple links with real related content to my subpages. Using different keywords for directly related content. Around 90 pages pointing. And some real traffic too - since site has over millions of users.
There will not be any -VE effect. And its defniltey a good idea to have links from such a good site to your site as you generate traffic for ur site.
every backlink will help you but all of them will effect with different weigths because of this, your idea is good for me
trichnosis is right, it's not mean that all pages that are pointed from one page have the same effect on it. That idea is a practice of trying to rank the subpages.
1000 links comming from one domain is not as good as 1000 links comming from 1000 domains. Still 1000 links from one domain will help your rankings and definately contribute
