inbound link

hello webmasters..
i have just started to learn seo.
i want to know what inbound link means..
could anyone explain that?

 

The name tells you what exactly it is

Inbound- Links pointing to your site.
Outbound- Links from your site pointing to other sites.......

 

in-coming links that's what it means.

 

The links which are Incoming from the web other than yours

For other sites to link to yours, you must offer a reason for them to. Original, quality content is a good way. You can also seek out links from directories and other sites. Try to keep your inbound links relevant to your site content. When getting listed in directories, try to get into the most relevant category.

 

search engine consider links as vote,
offer good content and make it available on social bookmarking sites,
if peoples like your content they will refer you by adding link to your website.
you can ask webmaster of relevant site for link exchange also.

 

Link exchange is good but google gives less emphasis on that lately.

 

inbound links ar links pointing to your site.. link from another page that links to your page. A link from a site outside of your site.

If a website has too many outbound links it's not good to buy textlinks from that site

The only way to getting good Pr and ranking is link building, means getting more and more incoming links from relevant pages

But take care one thing it should be one way, if you want to get good PR avoid reciprocal linking do three ways link exchange only

 

how would you know site's outbound links?

 

By checking home page and link page you can see how many outbound link are there........mainly link page

The no of link present on a website of other websites is called outbound links
