Inactive Keywords and Clicks

    Hi guys,

    I just came home from work and went to check my adwords, when i looked at my keywords i saw that some keywords where inactive like they always have been, but the did received clicks.

    How is it possible that keywords that are inactive, and have been this like forever do receive clicks.

    2 rare occasions:

    1 - inactive keywords receive low impressions - this normally occurs when min bid is 5 cents and your bid is < 5 cents

    - or -

    2 - the keyword has been active again by luck and suddenly inactive back again after some time.

    Look down at the bottom of the screen in any cpc ad group and you'll see this:

    I think you enabled the 'Content Search' option on your campaign setting?
