    Hi guys ..

    Question please, this page:
    http://webdev.entheosweb.com/

Is not very active. Last post there was nearly a year ago.
Does this hurt the quality of the page ? Would you still recommend me a post there ?

    Thanks

I would recommend you give a post now and do it regularly from now on. Since your site is blog and discontinued posting for a too long period could hurt your site ranking. :) All major search engines not just Google do prefer for fresh, unique and quality contents as always.

Try some posts with links to your site/blog which is added to Google analytics and see what traffic if any comes from there. It might be good...

The site has a PR of '6' and so if you are looking for back links for PR juice, you may very well proceed and get the blog post done! :)

In my own experiences, it is still helpful for posting articles on it or even make comments on it since it has a really nice PR of 6. Anyhow, you would get direct traffics from it for it also has a decent alexa rank of 4076. :)

    Have a nice day,

Take things slowly and moderately, don't boost things up immediately so it will not get over used..

I think you meant "comment" not "post", right? It's not your site, right?

Anyways, that site is a good example that your sites do NOT need fresh content,
that your sites do NOT need to be updated frequently and that your content does
    NOT need to be unique.

That site has a PR6, very nice PR.
It is ranking #1 and #2 for it's Title: "Web Development Site Promotion Articles"

That is not an easy place to rank at all, imo.

All the posts are NOT written by the blog owner, they are all copied and pasted from
places such as: Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Pat_Turman

Your content does NOT need to be unique and there is NO duplicate content penalty or filter.

Search the first sentence in the first post:
    http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source...esign"&btnG=Google+Search&fp=b50e415e8c6b0d49

There are literally hundreds of sites hosting that exact same article.

If you ever want to be successful online, you need to stop believing everything you
read and start researching and testing for yourself.

Google ranks sites based on relevance!

    That's their goal.
